Homeruns For Hope

This Little League Season, the Golisano Children’s Hospital is teaming up with Pittsford Little League for the Homeruns for Hope Campaign. Campaign sponsors are asked to make a monetary pledge for each homerun hit during Pittsford Little League’s regular season. Proceeds from the Homeruns for Hope Campaign will benefit the Golisano Children’s Hospital and the Pittsford Little League Russ Smith Scholarship fund.

The Golisano Children's Hospital at the University of Rochester Medical Center treats kids from across the 17-county Finger Lakes region for everything from helping them take their first breaths to treating them for chronic pain, surgical procedures and much more. Donations help children in need, and their families, on the miraculous journey to health.

Each year, Pittsford Little League offers up to two $500 college scholarships in memory of Russ Smith. Mr. Smith was a tireless volunteer who served the community for over 40 years. In his honor, Pittsford Little League awards these scholarships to students who have played in Pittsford Little League and who have demonstrated an ongoing commitment to community service and volunteerism during their high school years.
