The Pittsford Little League, Inc. (PLL) was founded in 1953 and operates as a volunteer-based organization chartered through Little League International. We are located in Pittsford, NY and offer Baseball, Softball and Challenger programs for players between the ages of 4 and 16 years old. Our Challenger baseball division is an adaptive program that enables kids who have mental and physical disabilities to play the game.

The league is a registered 503c(b) non-profit organization and all of our activities are funded through participant registration fees, corporate sponsorships, grants, and private donations.

At its core, the PLL experience for players is about establishing lifelong memories, a sense of pride in your hometown, where friends and classmates play with and against each other for good-natured bragging rights. We encourage children of all abilities and skill levels to play in the PLL; we believe “if you want to play you can play”. There are no cuts and equal play is mandated. Through the game, players learn life lessons in leadership, perseverance, discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork. Given the current global health crisis, we also provide children with safe outlets - outlets to socialize and vent their frustrations, outlets to get exercise and feel accomplishment, outlets be with friends and feel normal and outlets experience new things and break-up routines.

Since inception, two PLL players have gone on to play Major League baseball – simply put, we’re very proud of them and equally proud when our players go on to do great things in something other than baseball or softball.
