We are located in Pittsford, NY. We offer baseball and softball programs, in spring, summer, and fall for more than 700 children in Pittsford and East East Rochester. We welcome players of all skill levels and abilities; we believe “if you want to play, you can play”. We also offer Challenger baseball, an adaptive program for children with physical or intellectual disabilities.
Beyond baseball or softball, we teach life lessons in leadership, perseverance, discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
Rookies, Minors and Majors players who did not attend the Pittsford Panther travel baseball fall player evaluation (held in September 2019) are required to attend a player evaluation. PLL player evaluations are a low-pressure assessment of a player’s baseball skills – pitching, hitting, fielding, and running and help managers create balanced teams.
Players should attend one session; either Saturday, February 29th between 1:00 and 3:00pm at Calkins Rd Middle School or Sunday, March 8th between 1:00 and 3:00 pm at Mendon High School; each player evaluation will take approximately 20 minutes to complete.
The Pittsford Little League is open to boys and girls ages 4 to 16 residing in or going to school in Pittsford or East Rochester. We offer baseball and softball programs and welcome players of all skill levels and abilities; we believe “if you want to play, you can play”. Our Challenger division provides opportunities for boys and girls with physical and developmental disabilities.
We make every effort to see that players have a set schedule throughout the season. We feel this creates a better experience for players and families as it allows players to participate in multiple activities and families to plan their schedules.
