Due to e-mail formatting issues on the "League Athletics" system I am posting this bulletin
My name is John Lombardo, I am the manager for the "WellNow Urgent Care" K Tee Ball.
I was the manager of my son Daniel's Pre K team for Spring 2019 and we took last season off.
I attended Pittsford Schools K-12 (Sutherland class of '03) and played baseball with Pittsford Little League and then Freshman baseball along with some local summer leagues. My father and uncles also played for Pittsford Little League over the years, and I am looking forward to my boys continuing the tradition.
At Kevin Wexler’s coaches clinic in 2019, it was reinforced that the most important thing for Tee Ball is safety, and of course fun! The only way to make this happen is with help from parents or other family members. I have two boys (Danny, 6 and Dominic, 4) and they are a handful! When there is a team of kids at this age it is necessary to have more than one adult to keep them on track so they ALL can have a great experience.
The time commitment is not excessive, practice and games are on the same day at the same location. With the help of Kevin Wexler and his baseball teaching expertise I will have practice activities planned but it is critical that I can count on volunteers to help. You do not have to have any baseball experience, just a willingness to help your child and others on the team to be safe and have fun.
E-Mail is the easiest way to keep all communication organized and in one spot, but feel free to text or call with any questions. Please respond before the first scheduled practice and game (Saturday, April 24th) It would be much appreciated.
Looking forward to meeting everybody and having a great season!
